Summary
Overview:
Masstemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading, well established manufacturing company in the Smethwick area.
Due to a period of growth, we are looking to add an experienced MIG Welder to the team.
This role is available on a temp to perm, or permanent basis.
Duties:
• MIG welding mild steel components
Monitor the welding process and adjust heat as necessary.
• Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage.
• Operating overhead cranes to move materials
• Quality checking/inspecting welds once complete
Requirements:
We are looking for a MIG welder with demonstrated experience in the industry.
You will have experience welding mild steel, and will also be able to operate an overhead crane.

• Hourly rate of £14 per hr
• Temp to perm, or perm from day one
