Summary
Catering Assistant - £13.65 per hour Surehaven Glasgow was established in 2010 and is registered with Healthcare Improvement Scotland as an Independent Low Secure Mental Health Hospital. We can accommodate up twenty one patients aged between 18 to 65 with a primary diagnosis of mental illness, some of whom are liable to be detained under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Scotland Act 2003 and can have forensic backgrounds. Our employees are at the centre of everything we do……You will work under the direction of the Chef to work together as a Catering Team to ensure that delicious home cooked meals are prepared and services to our patients. Duties Include Assist chef with food preparationIndependently prepare hot meals/sandwiches for residentsLoad and unload dishwasher, wash up equipment unsuitable for dishwasherClean kitchen and equipmentCollect and distribute crockery from/to the care floorsClear tea trolleys where applicableEmpty kitchen rubbish and keep areas clear of refuseMaintain a clean and hygienic environmentCarry out reasonable requests, as instructed by the Senior Chef/ChefEnsure that the nutritional needs of residents are metEnsure compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and RegulationsWe will provide you with full training.
