Summary
Undertakes defined clinical or therapeutic interventions appropriately as delegated by a Registered Practitioner or as documented in the care plan Support individuals with their identified health needs Identify and respond to signs of pain or discomfort Promote patient independence and assist with an individual's overall comfort and wellbeing Support individuals with activities of daily living and to achieve their goals Recognise deteriorations in physical and mental health and report appropriately Demonstrate what it means in practice to provide person-centred care and support and promote health and wellbeing Recognise limitations in mental capacity and respond appropriately Perform basic life support for individuals using appropriate resuscitation techniques and equipment Undertake a range of physiological measurements using the appropriate equipment At times they may be considered a "lone worker" and as such will carry out and undertake familiar tasks with minimum supervision
