Tottle Bakery & Riverside Bakery (Nottingham) – Fully Onsite

Are you an experienced Process Technologist ready to take the next step in your career, with greater ownership and the opportunity
to lead projects end-to-end?
At The Compleat Food Group, we’re looking for a Senior Process Technologist to support both our Tottle Bakery and Riverside Bakery
sites, playing a key role in bringing new and improved products to life.
The Role
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll take ownership of the full product journey—from concept approval through to
successful factory launch.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll lead factory trials, solve production challenges, and ensure products are
delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead factory trials from planning through to execution and evaluation
* Take ownership of product launches, ensuring smooth handover to production
* Work on both NPD (new products) and EPD (existing product improvements)
* Collaborate with technical, production, NPD teams, and suppliers
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the factory environment
* Ensure all documentation and specifications meet audit and compliance standards
* Drive continuous improvement across quality, efficiency, and cost
* Support and influence cross-site projects across both bakeries
About You
* Experience in a food manufacturing environment (ideally bakery or chilled)
* Strong understanding of factory processes and trials
* Confident leading projects and working cross-functionally
* Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
* Passionate about delivering high-quality food products
