Summary
I am an 18-year-old man living in the Fallowfield area of Manchester. I enjoy go-karting, going to gym, swimming and exploring Manchester City Centre. I am looking for a mature personal assistant with experience to support me with social inclusion to access social activities and source volunteering experience.
I have 6 hours per week available, and these will be worked by 1 main PA, with a back-up PA covering annual leave or sickness. I need support to access the community, days and times can be flexible. The rate of pay is £13.78 per hour with 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year.
General Duties:
• Social activities
• Travel support and training using public transport
• Supervision and guidance when accessing the community
• Locate and use community resources, such as libraries, sports facilities or health services
• Support with communication in community settings
• Support to manage money and complete transactions
• Structured opportunities to practise community skills, with repeated guidance
Qualifications and personal qualities required
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Friendly
• Outgoing individual
• Good Communication skills
• Maintain Confidentiality
• Qualification in Care/Health and Social desirable but not essential
• Previous experience in caring/personal assistant desirable but not essential.

DBS check (Disclosure Barring Service) cost met by the employer.
