A school based in Middlesbrough is looking for a Learning Support Assistant's and Teaching Assistant's (Level 2 and 3) who have experience of supporting children and young people who are diagnosed with Autism. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of supporting people with special needs and be comfortable supporting ages 4 to 19 years old.
This role is to start immediately and there are part time and full time positions available.
- Term-Time only, Mon to Friday 8.30-4.30pm
- Immediate start
- Supporting children who have Autism
- Supporting the students with their learning and wellbeing
- Supporting with behaviour
- Assisting with the delivery of a tailored curriculum that supports each child individually
- Be dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children
- Knowledge of and an interest in special educational needs
- Flexibility to support across all primary and secondary ages, including post 16
- Comfortable supporting with personal care and any challenging behaviour that may arise
- Hold Right to Work in the UK - we do not offer sponsorship so please do not apply unless you are able to live and work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
