We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computing & IT Teacher to deliver Level 2 and Level 3 curriculum to learners up to the end of the academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with strong subject knowledge and a passion for helping students develop real-world digital skills. You will join a supportive team and teach motivated learners preparing for further study or entering the digital sector.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across IT Level 2 and Level 3 courses.
- Plan, assess, and track student progress in line with curriculum requirements.
- Support learners in developing practical digital skills and preparing for assessments.
- Work collaboratively with departmental staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or relevant FE teaching qualification.
- Strong knowledge of IT and computing topics (, networking, software development, cybersecurity, digital skills).
- Experience teaching Level 2 and/or Level 3 courses (BTEC, OCR, NCFE, etc.).
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom‑management skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
