Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to support local Primary Schools across Wakefield, Dewsbury, Pontefract and surrounding areas. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference, particularly supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
What You'll Do
- Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Help deliver engaging catch-up sessions
- Work closely with teachers to support SEN pupils' progress
- Assist with classroom activities and daily routines
- Build positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children preferred
- Patient, adaptable, and proactive attitude
- Right to work in the UK + recent references
- First Aid (not required but desirable)
