About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs in schools across Hinckley. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who require additional support to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Support students' emotional, social, and behavioural development
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's development
- Relevant qualifications ( Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable
