Summary
As a nurse specialist within a defined sphere of practice the post holder will undertake a range of duties to ensure the effective delivery of care, including undertaking specialist procedures, and providing specialist advice and ongoing support to the patient group.

The post holder will act as a specialist resource in providing evidenced based advice and information to promote the health and well-being of urogynaecology patients offering clinical expertise in treatments/therapies to optimise positive health outcomes.
The post holder will provide a dedicated telephone contact service for patients with urogynaecological disorders offering on-going advice, information and support. They will also act as a specialist resource for nurses and others in the wider multidisciplinary team.
In collaboration with the urogynaecology MDT and under the managerial supervision of the gynaecology outpatient Nurse Manager the post holder will develop and expand the service in line with BSUG/NICE guidelines and HEY clinical governance framework.
