About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support a private individual in their home. This is a part-time role focused on mobility assistance, companionship, and helping maintain independence in daily life.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with mobility and moving safely around the home
Supporting with safe manual handling, including lifting and carrying where required
Driving the client to appointments and local errands
Assisting with shopping and light daily tasks
Providing companionship and emotional support
About the Client
Age: 51
Health conditions: Arthritis and asthma
Additional needs: Requires physical support with mobility, including lifting assistance using appropriate manual handling techniques
Candidate Requirements
Experience with manual handling, including confidence in safe lifting techniques (e.g. fireman’s lift)
Fluent spoken English
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Kind, patient, and positive attitude
