Summary
Role & Responsibilities:
• Fault finding and maintaining mechanical assets including pumps, gearboxes, valves, etc
• Carry out inspections and condition-based monitoring
• Working in line with maintenance techniques and best practices
• To ensure compliance with the pressure regulations and lifting gear inspection requirements
• Assisting in plant developments and projects
• Supervising and setting to work on-site contractors
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records on the site CMMS
• Assist in outage planning, scheduling, and coordination
• To ensure the availability of plant spares
• Carry out preventative maintenance in line with scheduled PPM’s
• Provide reactive maintenance duties on the plant in a timely manner to meet the needs of the Operation’s requirements
Key Accountabilities:
• Be familiar with and observe the Health and Safety at Work Act
• Comply with GOL site safety rules
• Be available to meet call-out duties as part of a rota system
• Follow all SOP and work instructions
• Observe be familiar with and comply with all company policies
• Ensure all CBM duties are conducted
• Ensure all planned preventative maintenance requirements are met
Systems & Processes:
• Fuel delivery conveyors
• Gasification systems
• Steam and water and drainage systems
• Turbine and generator
• Abatement delivery
• Water treatment plant
• Ash conveyors
