Summary
To work in support of senior physiotherapists to provide a high standard
physiotherapy service as part of the 6 monthly rotational scheme; this involves working across all five sites of University Hospitals of Derby and Burton in a range of ward settings, outpatient departments and rehabilitation units. Candidates must be able to travel to work in various site locations.
Rotations include: MSK outpatients, Hand Therapy, Group Rehabilitation, Rheumatology, Acute Stroke and Stroke Rehab, Neuro Outpatients and Head Injuries, Critical Care, Surgery, Respiratory Medicine, Acute Medicine and Elderly Care, Parkinson's disease, T&O, ED, Women's Health, Oncology, Community care inclusive of respiratory and rehabilitation pathways.

To rotate through different specialities across all 5 sites of UHDB every 6 months.
To participate on the 24hour on call emergency respiratory roster once trained and inducted. To work various shift patterns according to speciality service needs, over seven days a week.
To carry clinical caseloads and contribute to service delivery. Participate in a well-established programme supporting your career pathway and personal development. Perform physiotherapy assessments of patients with diverse presentations. To deliver physiotherapy treatment programmes. Hold own clinical caseload and be responsible for a defined area of service.
Provide a flexible service during pressure times.
Contribute to the training and supervision of Therapy Support Workers and more junior staff. To aid in the delivery of the work experience service. Undertake specific tasks as delegated by the senior staff e.g. recruitment and retention events.
