Responsibilities As a CSCS Demo Operative, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Performing demolition tasks in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and to the highest quality.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations, including asbestos handling protocols.
- Operating tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
- Maintaining a clean and organized worksite.

Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

- Valid CSCS card (essential).
- Asbestos Awareness certification (essential).
- Previous experience in demolition or construction work (preferred).
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Day-to-Day Your typical day as a CSCS Demo Operative will involve:

- Reporting to the site supervisor for daily briefings and task assignments.
- Preparing the site for demolition activities, including setting up safety barriers and equipment.
- Carrying out demolition tasks using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Identifying and safely handling materials, including asbestos, in compliance with regulations.
- Monitoring and maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Completing tasks efficiently to meet project timelines.
