We are seeking an exceptional leader, a current headteacher, an experienced deputy headteacher, assistant headteacher or someone with equivalent senior leadership experience, who shares our belief in equity, creativity and high-quality inclusive practice. You will be a strong, proactive communicator, skilled in building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents. You will understand the importance of clarity, emotional intelligence and early intervention when supporting and leading others.

Our new headteacher will be an inspiring curriculum leader with experience across the primary phases, able to champion our creative and oracy-rich approach to teaching and learning. You will value staff wellbeing, encourage professional autonomy and foster a culture where every member of the team feels empowered and appreciated.

Hillmead is a school with significant strengths, a dedicated and stable staff, a welcoming culture, high levels of inclusion and strong community partnerships.
