What skills and experience we're looking for
Required for September 2026, Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and highly effective classroom practitioner to join our ambitious and creative Technology & Creative Arts department. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is passionate about securing excellent outcomes for students and committed to maintaining a high profile for Art within the wider life of the school.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic advocate for the Arts, with the ability to inspire, challenge and engage students of all abilities. They will bring a broad and complimentary skill set that will strengthen our existing provision across Art and 3D Design, supporting continued success and progression across the full age range.
Our department is a vibrant, forward-thinking and supportive team, committed to delivering high-quality teaching through a rich and engaging curriculum. We take pride in fostering creativity, independence and aspiration in our students, and are seeking a colleague who will play a key role in further enhancing the profile and impact of Creative Arts across the school. We are looking for a practitioner who thrives within a collaborative team, contributes positively to a shared vision for excellence, and is driven to continually develop their practice. Experience of teaching KS3 Technology would be an asset, enabling the successful candidate to contribute fully to our integrated and skills-rich Key Stage 3 curriculum.
The successful candidate will play a full part in the life of the school community, will be a form tutor and will contribute to maintaining the strong Catholic character of the school and in fostering the development of students and staff.
