Summary

Cover Supervisor
34 hours per week Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year
Surrey Pay Grade: S6 £24,901 - £26,704 (FTE £30,647 - £32,867)
We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our friendly team to deliver the curriculum in a teacher’s absence. The start date is negotiable.
The role of Cover Supervisors is to supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence, managing a classroom and ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set. You may also be expected to assist with some administrative tasks and invigilate during examinations.
You should possess a calm, confident and assertive manner and have the ability to relate well to young people to support learning. You should have strong communication skills and be highly flexible. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates and those considering a career in teaching. Full training will be given for this very interesting role.
