Join Our Client as a Court Usher in Liverpool!

Are you organised, motivated, and ready to support the justice system? Our client, HM Courts & Tribunals Service, is hiring a full-time temporary Court Usher in Liverpool. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a fair and accessible justice process, supporting court proceedings and ensuring a professional environment.

What you'll be doing:
* Prepare and clear courtrooms for hearings
* Call parties into court and escort court users as needed
* Support vulnerable individuals, including children and adults, during hearings
* Keep parties informed of hearing updates
* Liaise with court staff, judiciary, and external agencies
* Assist with administrative tasks such as producing court logs, updating records, and handling documentation
* Manage post, stock supplies, and handle basic financial tasks under supervision
* Answer enquiries in person and by phone, providing clear information
* Swear oaths and assist with hearing formalities

What you'll bring:
* Strong customer service skills and confidence in engaging with the public
* Calmness and professionalism in challenging or sensitive situations
* Excellent administrative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Teams
* Clear communication skills, both written and verbal

Details:
* Location: Liverpool
* Contract: 3 months, with potential extension
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
* Hourly Rate: £12.21
* Training provided

Requirements:
* Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
* Good organisational and clerical skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
