Summary
Key focuses of the role will include: Leading the creation of the annual policy, timetable and budget setting framework for developing the annual and medium-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with the financial strategy of the ICB Provision of an accurate and transparent costing service and development of new and innovative ways to use costing and non-financial information to support financial improvement Responsibility for recommending to the CFO overall income allocations for the Trust and the monitoring and reporting of patient income Provision of financial leadership for the Trusts Cost Improvement Programme, ensuring rigorous financial control is implemented across the programme Responsibility for the Contracts & Commissioning portfolio of service level agreement and patient care agreement negotiations, monitoring and maintenance of these agreements, dispute resolution and implementation of a financially sound contract monitoring system for the Trust.
