A warm and welcoming primary school in Stroud isseeking a dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a full‑time basis from 13th April. This is agreat opportunity for someone who loves supporting young learners and thrives in a nurturing, play‑based environment.
The Role
- Full‑time Reception (EYFS) Teaching Assistant
- Supporting children with early learning, play and classroom routines
- Assisting with phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities
- Providing 1:1 and small‑group support where needed
- Helping to create a positive, engaging, child‑centred learning environment
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team
About You
We're looking forsomeone who:
- Has experience supporting children in Early Years (EYFS experience desirable)
- Is warm, patient and enthusiastic about early childhood development
- Can follow routines while also showing initiative
- Works well as part of a collaborative team
- Is committed to helping young learners thrive socially and academically
