About the Role


We are seeking a detail‑driven Accounts Payable Clerk to join a busy finance team in Holywell. This role is ideal for someone experienced in transactional finance who can work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. You'll be responsible for processing 50-70 invoices per day and ensuring supplier payments are accurate and on time.


Key Responsibilities

  • Processing 50-70 invoices daily
  • Matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Managing the accounts payable inbox and handling queries
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Supporting month‑end tasks including accruals and reporting
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring policy compliance
  • Building strong internal and external relationships


What We're Looking For

  • Previous Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage high volumes and meet deadlines
  • Confident communicator with a proactive approach
  • Good Excel skills and experience with finance systems
