We are seeking a technically strong and delivery-focused Project Manager to oversee a diverse range of Mechanical, Electrical and Building Fabric projects across the Prospect Park Hospital site.
This role plays a key part in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards, while supporting the development of the works pipeline and contributing to business growth.
Job Description
We are looking for a professional who can manage full project lifecycles, maintain strict compliance with statutory and NHS requirements, and drive high-quality outcomes for our client.
You will operate with confidence across surveys, scoping, procurement, financial management and handover, while maintaining robust governance and documentation throughout.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Mechanical, Electrical and Building Fabric projects across the Prospect Park Hospital site.
Manage full project lifecycle including surveys, scoping, procurement, cost plans, delivery, handover and warranty.
Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, ISS procedures, and NHS HTMs.
Manage project financials, budgets, risks, schedules, reporting and P&L.
Liaise with the client on change control, risks, planning, and progress updates.
Produce and maintain governance documentation, quality procedures, and project reporting.
Support the development of the project pipeline and business development activity.
Ensure Health & Safety is embedded throughout all project delivery activities.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
HNC/NVQ Level 4 or equivalent technical qualification.
Ideally a recognised Project Management qualification.
Strong technical background in engineering or building fabric.
Working knowledge of NHS HTMs, Health & Safety compliance, project roadmaps and planned maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret Autodesk AutoCAD drawings (general awareness).
Full IT literacy: MS Office, MS Project, spreadsheets and digital reporting tools.
Proven experience delivering projects up to £2m.
Experience within Healthcare, Pharma or Life Sciences environments (highly desirable).
Experience as a Project Manager within a technical discipline, capable of delivering mechanical or construction projects.
