In our busy and diverse welding department, you’ll work on a wide range of light-gauge, high-tolerance, and aesthetic metal products. From intricate, precision components to high-quality finishes, your role will be at the heart of our production process.
Key Responsibilities
TIG Welding: Deliver high-quality welds on light-gauge materials while maintaining exceptional standards.
Fabrication & Assembly: Work from engineering drawings to create and assemble components.
Finishing Excellence: Dress, fettle, and finish welded parts to meet exact specifications using power and hand tools.
Quality Inspections: Ensure every piece meets our strict quality standards.
Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues to optimise processes and improve productivity.
Safety & Organisation: Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience in TIG welding, with MIG experience a bonus.
A strong background in sheet metal fabrication.
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols with precision.
Familiarity with power tools and safe working practices.
Basic computer literacy for accessing work instructions and completing checklists.
You’ll need to pass a weld test at the interview stage to demonstrate your skills and precision.
