About the Role
We are seeking caring and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisors to join a network of primary schools across Birmingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour while they eat and play.
Key Responsibilities
-Supervise pupils in dining halls, playgrounds, and other designated areas
-Encourage good table manners and healthy eating habits
-Promote positive behaviour and inclusion among pupils
-Support children in play activities and help resolve minor conflicts
-Ensure the safety and welfare of all pupils at all times
-Report any concerns or incidents to school staff promptly
What We’re Looking For
-A friendly, patient, and approachable manner
-Ability to communicate effectively with children and staff
-A strong sense of responsibility and awareness of safeguarding
-Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
-A commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment
