About the Role
Nellies Complex Care Ltd is a nurse-led provider delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex health needs.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support a young girl in her own home and within her school environment. This is a rewarding role where you will play a key part in supporting her daily care, wellbeing, and development.
You will work as part of a supportive team, following care plans and clinical guidance to ensure safe and effective care is delivered at all times.
Key Responsibilities
– Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans
– Support with daily living activities, including personal care
– Assist with moving and handling in line with training and risk assessments
– Support the individual at school, ensuring safety and inclusion
– Monitor and report any changes in health or wellbeing
– Maintain accurate and timely care records using digital systems (e.g. PASS)
– Work collaboratively with family members, education staff, and the wider care team
– Promote dignity, respect, and independence at all times
– Follow all safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety procedures
Requirements
– Previous care experience is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
– Full UK driving licence is essential
– Willingness to accompany the family on holidays
– Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
– Good communication and teamwork skills
– A caring, patient, and reliable approach
– Commitment to delivering high standards of care
