About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator for a short-term contract placement with our client in Sanquhar. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement and handling of goods within the warehouse/production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials.
Move stock and materials to designated areas within the warehouse or production site.
Conduct daily safety checks and maintenance on forklift equipment.
Assist with general warehouse duties, including order picking and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
Valid forklift license/certification.
Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexible and reliable with good time management skills.
