• To work independently with families and young people according to clinical needs and/or plan agreed with the other professionals involved in the CYP’s care and within the overall framework of MHST’ policies and procedures.
• To assist in the formulation and implementation of plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of a CYP’s presenting difficulties; based upon an appropriate conceptual framework of the CYP’s difficulties and employing methods based upon evidence of efficacy, across the full range of care settings, with the support and guidance from a qualified clinician.
