Teacher of Mathematics full time or part time considered
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics teacher to join our successful and supportive team. This is a flexible opportunity, and we welcome applications from both full-time and part-time candidates.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for either an early career or experienced teacher to join our established Mathematics department.
You will:
• Teach Mathematics across Key Stages, including the opportunity to contribute to A Level teaching
• Bring creativity and energy to your teaching, making Maths engaging, relevant and accessible to all learners
• Be committed to raising standards through collaboration and sharing best practice
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for your subject
We are looking for someone who thrives in the classroom, enjoys working with young people of all abilities, and is passionate about making Maths both engaging and meaningful.
About You
You will:
• Be an effective and reflective classroom practitioner
• Build strong relationships with students and colleagues
• Motivate and inspire learners through a positive and energetic approach
• Value teamwork and contribute fully to a collaborative department
Our Maths Department
Our Maths team is a knowledgeable and cohesive group of specialists who are committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for students.
• All teachers are Maths specialists with a wide range of experience
• Staff teach across the full age and ability range, with opportunities to specialise at A Level
• Lessons are planned and reviewed collaboratively, with a strong culture of sharing and continuous improvement
• We take pride in supporting one another and maintaining a strong sense of shared purpose
Students are grouped thoughtfully to support progress:
• Years 8 and 9 are grouped broadly by prior attainment
• Years 10 and 11 are banded, allowing flexibility to best meet students’ needs
At GCSE and A Level, we follow the Edexcel specifications. Our Sixth Form is strong and growing, with multiple A Level groups in Years 12 and 13, alongside Further Maths and Core Maths provision.
