Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors and staff of our large church school are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified class teacher to work as part of our dynamic,forward thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a large 2 form entry city primary school.We currently have a temporary need post available – year group to be confirmed.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience of teaching within the primary age range

• Have a clear understanding of the curriculum and assessment for learning

• Have high expectations for our children’s progress and overall achievement

• Take an imaginative and creative approach to curriculum planning that captures the children’s interest

• Be forward thinking,innovative and highly energetic

• Have a passion for quality teaching and learning, enabling the best outcomes for our children

• Be able to work well as part of our whole school team and school community

• Support our Christian ethos as a church school
