We are looking for someone who is:
• Friendly, approachable and professional
• Practical and proactive, able to manage a variety of tasksWe are looking for a friendly Teaching Assistant to support the classroom teacher in our early years class on Fridays. Early years or nursery setting experience desirable along with understanding of the Early Years framework and / or Forest School.
Friday mornings in our Early Years class is Forest School.
The Role
The ideal candidate will be:
• Confident leading small groups and targeted interventions in a range of year groups
• Fully committed to the role of working alongside pupils with Additional Needs
• Motivated, energetic and has a flexible and innovative approach to learning
• Passionate about providing the best opportunities possible for our children
• Committed to working as part of a hard-working and dedicated team
• Experienced in working with children with Special Educational Needs is desirable.
• Flexible and adaptable
• Calm and patient
• Organised and efficient
