Activate Learning is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Construction Teacher to join the team at Reading College. About the Role as a Construction Teacher: This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across our Construction programmes. You will support students in developing practical, industry-relevant skills while fostering confidence and employability skills. We are seeking an individual who combines industry expertise with a passion for developing others. You will be committed to delivering engaging, inclusive, and skills-focused teaching that supports learners of all abilities.To be successful in this role, you will have:Solid industry experience across Construction trades, including Plumbing, Carpentry and BricklayingA minimum Level 2 qualification in Plumbing (or higher)Strong practical knowledge with the ability to translate this into effective teaching and learningGood standard of education, including GCSEs (Grade 4/C or equivalent) in English and MathsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA learner-focused approach with the ability to motivate and inspireTeaching experience is desirable but not essential - full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
