Summary

Staircasing and Resales Advisor

£27,876 - £30,973 per annum (depending on experience)

Home based with travel to offices as required

Fixed term contract until May 2027

Full time 35 hours per week

Are you ready to make a real difference to people's home‑ownership journey?We're looking for a Staircasing and Resales Advisor to join us on a fixed-term contract until 31 May 27, covering a period of family leave.

In this varied role, you'll support shared ownership customers through the full staircasing and resale journey from first enquiry through to legal completion, ensuring every stage is accurate, timely and clearly communicated. You'll guide customers through what can be a complex process with clarity, empathy and confidence.

What You'll Be Doing:
-Overseeing the full home ownership resale journey, from initial enquiry right through to legal completion.

-Ensuring all staircasing sales meet regulatory requirements while supporting the team in achieving the Group's annual staircasing targets.

-Building strong relationships and communicating effectively with customers, external solicitors, and internal teams.

-Processing and reviewing legal documentation, taking reservation payments on behalf of the sales team, and managing the distribution of digital post.

-Maintaining accurate, well‑organised records and correspondence to ensure a smooth and compliant process.

Some things we are looking for:
-GCSEs (Maths & English, Grade C+) and strong numeracy/literacy, with demonstrable administration experience.

-Customer‑focused, with experience working directly with customers and ideally within property sales, home ownership, or legal teams

-Excellent communication and first‑class organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and proactively drive results.

-Knowledge of current housing legislation (desirable), alongside a commitment to continuously improving services and working collaboratively with others.

While this role is home-based, you'll need to occasionally travel and work from Group offices based in Solihull and Worcester and other locations if required.
