Summary

We are looking for to appoint a Senior Clinical Fellow at post CCT or ST7-8 level in HPB Surgery. The post will be based at the Royal London Hospital and is for a period of 12 months in the first instance, extendable to 12 months, to start in April 2026. The Royal London Hospital is a tertiary referral centre for HPB Surgery and the post offers excellent opportunities for surgical trainees to gain experience in basic and complex procedures. The post is not formally approved by the Deanery for higher surgical training, but the workload will be similar to that of a HST.

Fellows are expected to have the FRCS or equivalent and be peri-CCT. Evidence of strong personal motivation and experience in audit or teaching is desirable. If you are a surgical trainee seeking to consolidate your surgical experience at the senior registrar level, this is an exciting opportunity for you to join a centre of surgical excellence in London.

The post will be based at the Royal London Hospital; however the post-holder may be required to work at other Barts Health sites, if required.

Informal discussions are encouraged and you are invited to contact:
