Summary

The Lyric Hammersmith Theatre is one of the UK’s leading producing theatres. The Lyric produces world-class theatre from the heart of Hammersmith, the theatre’s home for over 130 years. The theatre has gained a national reputation for its work in forging pathways into the arts for young talent from all backgrounds.

We are looking for a Producer for a 18 month fixed term contract. This role will produce Hammersmith & Fulham’s Young People’s Borough of Culture. Overseeing a two-year initiative enabling young people in H&F to celebrate their cultural lives, and linking their creativity to the local innovation sectors.

The role will oversee the Youth Board and lead on all aspects of producing of a youth festival, School Arts Week, young people-led projects, expert practitioner networks and careers support. Reaching more than 10,000 children and young people locally to access culture and creativity

The role will sit within the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, who are taking responsibility for leading the Young People’s Borough of Culture programme on behalf of the Where Culture Connects H&F Cultural Compact. The lead partners for the programme are the Lyric, H&F Council and Earls Court Development Company, with the shared vision of implementing a new long-term model for young people, education and business sectors
