About the Role
KICK, a Christian charity dedicated to transforming young people’s lives through sport and support, is seeking a passionate and motivated Learning Mentor to join our team in Bristol.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a school setting, supporting students to overcome barriers to learning, improve their wellbeing, and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 mentoring to students, creating and reviewing tailored support plans
Support improvements in attendance, behaviour, and academic achievement
Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions where required
Build strong relationships with students, parents/carers, and school staff
Conduct home visits and maintain regular communication with families
Support students with emotional and behavioural needs, including reintegration into school
Assist with clubs and enrichment activities (e.g. homework or breakfast clubs)
Attend multi-agency meetings and collaborate with external support services
Support transition programmes, including summer school activities
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Is a committed Christian, aligned with KICK’s mission:

Has experience working with children or young people
Is passionate, proactive, and solutions-focused
Can engage, inspire, and motivate students from a range of backgrounds
Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
