Summary

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Assistant to provide high-quality home care services to clients in their own homes. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be reliable, and have a genuine desire to assist others. A valid driving licence is required to facilitate travel between clients' homes, ensuring flexible and efficient care delivery.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in accordance with care plans.
Support clients with mobility and daily activities to promote independence and well-being.
Administer medication as prescribed, following strict health and safety guidelines.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
Perform light domestic chores including laundry, cleaning, and organising the home environment.
Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure personalised care delivery.
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
Driving licence is preferred to enable travel between clients’ homes efficiently.
Good command of English language skills for effective communication.
Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes.
Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach towards clients’ needs.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
