There are rewarding opportunities available within Frailty, Acute Geriatrics, Medical Liaison, Community Liaison (including Virtual Wards and Care Home Medicine) as well as subspecialty outpatient clinics.

We deliver outstanding clinical care and high quality, award winning, services for people living within the London Borough of Newham, and the surrounding areas.

We are leaders in developing a flexible working environment and pride ourselves on the importance of well-being and a good work-life balance. We welcome, and encourage, applications for LTFT working.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide clinical leadership to our award winning, Virtual Frailty Team as well as delivering an early CGA in ED for acute geriatric admissions. This will rotate with cover for an acute inpatient geriatric medicine ward (max 13 beds).

You must hold full registration with the General Medical Council and be on the Specialist Register for Geriatric and General Medicine or within 6 months of obtaining CCT.

The candidates will be supported by the Clinical Lead and there is the opportunity for mentorship to help you transition into your new role.
