Summary
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Alternative provision in Chesterfield who are looking to secure a Science teacher to start at as soon as possible in a Secondary age setting.
This is a full time, temp to perm role. MPS-UPS plus SEN1
Applicants should have good knowledge and experience of working with disaffected pupils in a school or other alternative setting. An passion for working with pupils with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties is an essential quality for this challenging but rewarding role.
(Could be primary teacher but needs strong science knowledge and to plan and teach at GCSE level)
A full and clean UK drivers licence and access to a car, is required with business insurance.
The ideal Food technology teacher will have:
• The ability to follow the National Curriculum and provide creative lessons
• Positive approach to teaching
• The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils
• Fantastic classroom management
