Summary


The NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHSCFA) is the national body responsible for all matters relating to the prevention, detection and investigation of economic crime across the NHS.

Following the success of our 2 year funded 'Project Athena' we are pleased to offer this permanent vacancy that has management responsibility for the timely acquisition and sourcing of data suitable for counter fraud analysis within function. They provide the professional management of the reporting arm of the function that provides key business insights, external reporting and counter fraud information and fraud insights deployment to the sector. They are required to build relationships, formally agreeing data flows with key partners and working collaboratively with other disciplines within the function

This role requires NPPV 2

· Deliver data acquisition required for fraud detection data driven counter fraud initiatives.

· Secure data and pipeline partnerships across the NHS using strong data management and stakeholder engagement skills.

· Ensure timely delivery, acquisition, and contracting of data (including MoUs) for the Advanced Data Analytics function for the purposes of counter fraud.

· Work with Counter Fraud Data Scientists, Counter Fraud Data Engineers, and domain experts to ensure data quality and identify enrichment opportunities.

· Maintain clear timelines for data acquisition and analytical reporting products.

· Actively work with managers within the functions (data science and engineering) and NHSCFA team to ensure delivery of counter fraud data that underpins the delivery of the advanced analytical insights and products.

In addition to the advertised salary working in the London area will attract High-Cost Area Supplement where appropriate. · Manage systems and processes for monitoring delivery, counter fraud data acquisition and reporting, review of allocated projects and performance milestone and benefits delivery,escalation of risks and issues and targeting of mitigating action.

· Personally, lead and engage with external partners and counter fraud data providers to ensure analytical counter fraud data requirements and reporting products are met

· Promoting a supportive, fair and open culture that encourages and enables all
parts of the workforce to meet required performance standards

· Contributing to the development of corporate, counter fraud strategy, policy and prevention initiatives and decision-making activity.

· Organising and chairing cross team meetings relating to counter fraud data acquisition and appropriateness for problem centric advanced analytical techniques.

· Define counter fraud problem statements and embed in the detection of fraud.
