Summary

Opportunity for a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant
The school requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant from August 2026 to work in Foundation Stage 2.
The post is temporary in the first instance, with a strong possibility of extending beyond this.
Interested applicants must have English GCSE (A*-C) or equivalent, preferably Maths GCSE (A* to C) or equivalent and considerable experience of supporting children’s learning in a school setting.
Salary: Level 3 TA (points range 11-14)
Applications are welcome for full time or part time consideration.
We are looking for a team member who:
is a highly organised and effective practitioner, who has an excellent working knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum
is willing and able to teach a whole class as part of PPA provision and provide short-term cover on occasions
is confident with all aspects of Early Reading, including teaching and supporting phonics.
is able to work on own initiative to effectively intervene in learning and give appropriate support at a high level to identified children
has the highest expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
has experience of working with SEND children with complex needs and be willing to provide one to one support (including intimate care), when required
is keen to develop professional expertise
is creative, flexible and has a sense of humour
has good IT skills
is willing to allow time before and after school to liaise with other staff
enjoys working with supportive parents, governors and the wider community.
