Summary
As an Asbestos Operative you will be expected to:
Play a key role in delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality asbestos removal and remediation works across a variety of domestic, commercial, and industrial environments.

Adhere with the Health and Safety at Work Act to take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.
To be successful in an Asbestos Operative role, the skills you will need - For the right applicant we would be open to put them through the below qualifications.
Full UK Asbestos Operative Training (including up-to-date UKATA or equivalent accreditation)
Valid Medical Certification compliant with Control of Asbestos Regulations
Face-Fit Certification (qualitative or quantitative)
Demonstrable experience in the asbestos removal industry
Full understanding of safe working practices, RAMS, and industry compliance
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow strict health & safety procedures
Full UK driving license
Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email.
Experience or Knowledge of the below would be advantageous but not essential:
First Aid at Work certification
SSSTS/SMSTS certification
Additional H&S qualifications (e.g., IOSH Working Safely, NEBOSH General Certificate)
Experience working in live commercial or construction environments
Knowledge of waste handling procedures and hazardous materials protocols
