Summary


The delivery of a professional customer focused service throughout the site including staff feeding, hospitality and vending. Ensuring all hygiene and safety standards are maintained at all times.
• External ordering and internal requisitioning of any kitchen supplies required, ensuring stock levels are maintained and all such goods are correctly stock rotated.
• Record both manually and using the computer where necessary all food quantities issued, wastage and additional activity, ensuring accuracy.
• Report on any equipment and works issues that require repair following the works department procedure.
• § To support the recording and taking appropriate action in the event of an accident e.g. completion of Inphase forms.
• Ensure correct and economical use of materials including the effective use of all kitchen equipment and energy supplies.
• Ensure accurate receipt of deliveries in accordance with the departmental policy ensuring temperature control is maintained and delivered to appropriate areas.
• To be smart in appearance and well-groomed adhering to the departmental uniform policy
• Cleaning of premises and equipment and utensils to specified hygiene standards.
• Responsibility for stock rotation and checking date codes when given cleaning duties by dining room supervisor.
• Preparation of food items for service, this includes toast and other breakfast items, fruit, salads, sandwiches and hospitality items.
