Summary

Internal Sales Executive

Gloucester | £15 per hour PAYE | Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm | Temp to Perm | Immediate Start

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie, as a preferred supplier, is recruiting for a well-known and respected national business based at their Gloucester depot. We're looking for an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join the depot team, supporting both existing and potential customers while driving new business growth.

Key Duties:

  • Maintain and develop existing customer relationships while generating new business.

  • Handle telephone, email, and fax enquiries, providing quotations and processing orders.

  • Ensure budgeted sales and margin targets are achieved.

  • Submit and progress customer quotations and supplier purchase orders.

  • Maintain goods receiving procedures and assist with annual stock-take.

  • Support general office, clerical, and administrative duties.

  • Check goods received and organise stock for dispatch.

  • Assist with loading goods onto delivery vehicles.

  • Attend sales meetings, product training, and corporate functions as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an internal sales or customer service role.

  • Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach.

  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to targets.

  • Organised, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.

  • Proficiency with basic office systems and MS Office.

Pay & Working Hours:

  • £15 per hour PAYE.

  • Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.

  • Minimum 8 hours' pay guaranteed daily.
