Summary
We’re looking for passionate youth workers to deliver fun, hands-on music sessions where young people can learn essential skills – from playing instruments and developing their voices to exploring music production and recording. You’ll teach fundamentals in a range of music activities while inspiring creativity, building confidence, and encouraging young people aged 8–19 (or up to 25 with SEND) to express themselves in a creative and inclusive environment.
You’ll need experience working with young people, ideally through delivering music or arts sessions. Just as important, you’ll bring creativity, confidence, and the ability to plan fun, engaging activities, along with the patience and energy to support young people as they grow. Skills in instrument tuition (drums, guitar, piano), vocal coaching, or music production are highly desirable. Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and inclusion is also essential, with training provided.
