Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Campus Lead to provide strong leadership and management within a multi-site specialist further education college. This role is key to ensuring outstanding outcomes for learners with SEND, SEMH, autism and associated needs, through the effective oversight of teaching and learning, pastoral care, behaviour, safeguarding and daily operations. Working closely with senior leaders, you will play a vital role in driving the college’s strategic vision and maintaining high standards across the campus.

Your role will include:

Leading and managing the campus team to deliver high-quality education, support, and pastoral care for learners with SEND, SEMH, autism, and associated needs.
Act as the main point of contact for staff, learners, parents/carers, and external agencies, demonstrating pride and ownership of the campus.
Oversee teaching standards, learner progress, curriculum planning, and assessment strategies, supporting the college’s Quality Improvement Plan.
Promote a positive, inclusive culture, leading on behaviour management, learner wellbeing, and safeguarding (acting as Deputy DSL if required).
Ensure compliance with statutory, health and safety, and data protection requirements, liaising with the Business Operations Manager to maintain site standards.
Monitor attendance, implement strategies to improve learner engagement, and maintain accurate records.
Line manage teaching and support staff, implementing performance management, professional development, and CPD plans.
Foster a motivated, collaborative, and high-performing team culture across the campus.
Maintain effective communication with parents/carers, staff, and external stakeholders, providing regular performance reports to the Deputy Principal.
Uphold high professional standards, ensuring exemplary conduct, compliance, and resolution of any HR matters.
Who we are looking for:

Qualifications: Degree in Education or related field and Qualified Teacher Status (or working towards); leadership qualification desirable.
Experience: Leadership experience in specialist education; minimum 5 years teaching experience; proven success in improving learner outcomes and behaviour; experience managing staff and operational compliance; experience working with learners with SEND/SEMH.
Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of SEND legislation, safeguarding, and Ofsted/ISA requirements; ability to lead teaching and learning improvements; excellent organisational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Personal Attributes: Visionary and values-driven leader; resilient and adaptable; committed to inclusion and learner-centred approaches; sets high expectations for learners and staff.
Other Requirements: Enhanced DBS clearance; driving licence and willingness to travel between sites as required.
