Healthcare Assistant
Leicester | £12.80 – £13.00 per hour | Flexible Shifts Available
Social Care & Education is currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to work in residential and nursing homes across Leicester.
The Role:
You will be supporting residents with dementia, delivering high-quality, person-centred care while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing personal care and daily living support
• Assisting residents with mobility, including safe and confident use of hoists
• Supporting residents in line with individual care plans
• Ensuring residents’ safety, wellbeing, and emotional support
• Working collaboratively with the care home team
Essential Requirements:
• Previous experience in a similar care setting
• Experience working with individuals with dementia
• Confident and competent using hoists and moving & handling equipment
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
