Summary
We are looking to recruit Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work in Primary schools in and around Cambridge, specifially the CB22 postcode.
Position: Part-Time Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support & general TA duties) Monday - Wednesday
Location: Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas.
Start Date: Immediately
About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support and general TA duties to one of our schools within Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about working with young children and making a positive impact on their educational journey. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis, and have a nurturing and patient approach. These roles are temporary but many of which may develop in to long term and even permanent.
About the school: The schools we work with are lovely, welcoming and supportive. Working in Cambridge you will work between 08:00 and 6:00pm Monday to Wednesday.
- Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting in the last 3 years
- A passion for helping young children achieve their full potential.
- Patience, flexibility, and a proactive approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
- A relevant qualification in education or childcare (, Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential.
- An enhanced DBS check will be required.
- Ability to travel between schools is essential.
