Not every child communicates with words-but every child deserves to be heard.

We're looking for a caring, patient, and proactive Teaching Assistant to support a non-verbal child 1:1 in a primary school setting. If you've worked with SEND children or used PECS, Makaton, AAC, or sign language, this could be the most rewarding role you take on.

✔ Support one child throughout the school day
✔ Use alternative communication tools to unlock learning
✔ Build confidence, independence, and social skills
✔ Work closely with teachers and specialists

✔ Experience with SEND or non-verbal children
✔ Calm, compassionate, can-do attitude
✔ Communication tools experience (a bonus, not essential!)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
