1:1 Tutor Required - Epping Area
Are you passionate about making a real difference in a young person's life? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Tutors to support students in the Epping area who are currently disengaged from mainstream education for a variety of reasons.
This rewarding role involves working closely with pupils on an individual basis, helping to rebuild confidence, re-engage them with learning, and support their academic and personal development in a tailored, flexible way.
About the Role:
- Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition sessions in a supportive and engaging manner
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the individual needs of each student
- Support students with a range of needs, including SEND and those who are disengaged from education
- Build positive, trusting relationships to encourage participation and progress
Experience, Training and Qualifications of the 1:1 Tutor:
- QTS or equivalent, or relevant tutoring experience
- UK classroom teaching experience or tutoring experience
- Creative, patient, and willing to think outside the box
- Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Have an enhanced Child Barred List DBS certificate registered on the update service, or be willing to apply for one
- Provide two professional child-related references
