Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Accrington and Burnley. These schools are seeking dedicated, patient and proactive support staff who can make a real difference to the learning and wellbeing of children with SEND.
- Experience working with children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, communication needs or SEMH.
- Confident supporting pupils with EHCPs on a 1:1 or small‑group basis.
- Ability to implement strategies to support emotional regulation, learning and independence.
- A calm, nurturing and resilient approach to behaviour.
- A passion for helping children reach their full potential.
- Full-time and part-time roles available to suit your schedule.

- Positions available in both mainstream and specialist provision.
- Long‑term roles with the potential for permanent opportunities.
- Hourly rate: £14.30 - £16 per hour (based on experience and role responsibilities).
- Weekly pay through PAYE-no umbrella fees.

- A dedicated consultant supporting you throughout your placement.
- Opportunities to progress into long-term or permanent school roles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
